SOMA will be organizing a battle of the bands on Saturday, December 3rd. This event is sponsored by Jansport and the winner will go on to compete against bands from other universities for a chance to win some promotional support from Jansport! This includes a spot on a mix tape that will be distributed at large festivals that they support, giving you the opportunity to reach thousands of new ears. If you are interested in entering your band for a spot, submit an application as explained on the facebook event page. Even if you aren’t in a band, come out for a great time and hear some new music, then vote for your favorite!
